The Mirror Committee 11 has been established to deal with the Food and Biotechnology Sector aspects. The committee monitors the respective activities in the field of European and international standardization and submits opinions / comments during the European standards' drafting (development) stage. The committee includes representatives from the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Tourism, the Ministry of Interior, the Cyprus Employers and Industrialists Federation (OEB), the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI), the Cyprus Scientific and Technical Chamber (ETEK), the Pancyprian Union of Chemists (PEEX), the Consumers' Association and other professional associations.
The standards' titles that are under public review and commenting can be found on the Cyprus Standardization Organization's website under the title "Standards prEN". Interested parties can contact CYS and can request copies of the draft standards under review.
