Gas

Following the increasing needs of the market for the standardization of products and services related to fuel gas, the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) has established more than 20 Technical Committees (TCs) to work for the sector.

These committees deal with aspects related to the entire fuel-gas supply chain such as production, transportation and consumption. In addition, for better coordination and two-way cooperation with the European Union, two horizontal forums have been established to deal with the infrastructure and use of Natural Gas.

The European standards developed by CEN ensure that the design of products and services related to fuel gas is comprehensive and well balanced, that is beyond the technical and operational parameters, it also ensures the promotion of safety and environmental protection.
