Scope of Work<\/strong><\/p>\n

As a member of the committee, you have the opportunity to influence national, European, and international standardisation deliverables in the fields of energy systems, renewable energy technologies, energy efficiency, and smart grids within the electrical sector. The committee addresses diverse technologies such as wind and solar power, marine energy, fuel cells, hydraulic and steam turbines, and electrical energy storage systems. It also covers aspects of electrical measurement, control, power engineering, and energy supply systems, including their application in electric vehicles and combined heat and power systems.<\/p>\n

The scope includes the development of standards and other standardisation deliverables for the generation, storage, distribution, and efficient use of electrical energy. This includes smart energy grids, photovoltaic and solar thermal systems, energy metering and control, and electrical systems for mobility. The committee also contributes to the standardisation of energy efficiency products and the safe, reliable integration of renewable and alternative energy technologies into existing infrastructure.<\/p>\n

As a committee member, you will have the opportunity to participate in international and\/or European work. CYS MC 5.08 monitors and contributes to the work of the following European and international technical committees:<\/p>\n
