Scope of Work<\/strong><\/p>\n

As a member of the committee, you have the opportunity to influence national, European, and international standardisation deliverables in the fields of medical devices, including quality management systems and active implantable technologies. The committee supports the development of general and transversal requirements for medical devices, focusing on lifecycle quality, regulatory compliance, and the safe and effective use of active implantable medical products.<\/p>\n

The scope includes the development of standards and other standardisation deliverables related to quality management, risk assessment, and performance evaluation of medical devices. It also includes horizontal aspects such as terminology, safety principles, usability, and post-market surveillance requirements, with an emphasis on harmonisation with European legislation and international best practices.<\/p>\n

As a committee member, you will have the opportunity to participate in international and\/or European work. CYS MC 7.02 monitors and contributes to the work of the following European and international technical committees:<\/p>\n
