Scope of Work<\/strong><\/p>\n

As a member of the committee, you have the opportunity to influence national, European, and international standardisation deliverables in the fields of telecommunication equipment, including audio, video, multimedia systems, fibre optics, industrial communication, and home and building electronic systems. The committee also covers maritime navigation and radiocommunication, cable networks, smart metering communication systems, and electrotechnical aspects of telecommunication equipment.<\/p>\n

The scope includes the development of standards and other standardisation deliverables for the design, interoperability, safety, and performance of telecommunication equipment and systems. This includes fibre optic systems and components, audio-visual and multimedia technologies, industrial process automation, ultrasonic equipment, mains communication systems, and infrastructure for cable and interactive television services, ensuring reliable communication solutions across various sectors.<\/p>\n

As a committee member, you will have the opportunity to participate in international and\/or European work. CYS MC 8.01 monitors and contributes to the work of the following European and international technical committees:<\/p>\n
