The committee also covers maritime navigation and radiocommunication, cable networks, smart metering communication systems, and electrotechnical aspects of telecommunication equipment.<\/p>\n<p>The scope includes the development of standards and other standardisation deliverables for the design, interoperability, safety, and performance of telecommunication equipment and systems. This includes fibre optic systems and components, audio-visual and multimedia technologies, industrial process automation, ultrasonic equipment, mains communication systems, and infrastructure for cable and interactive television services, ensuring reliable communication solutions across various sectors.<\/p>\n<p>As a committee member, you will have the opportunity to participate in international and\/or European work. CYS MC 8.01 monitors and contributes to the work of the following European and international technical committees:<\/p>\n<p>European Technical Committees<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CLC\/SR 100 Audio, video, and interconnecting devices and passive components<\/li>\n<li>CLC\/SR 86C Fibre optic systems and active devices<\/li>\n<li>CEN\/TC 294 Communication systems for meters<\/li>\n<li>CLC\/SR 87 Ultrasonics<\/li>\n<li>CLC\/TC 100X Audio, video and multimedia systems and equipment and related sub-systems<\/li>\n<li>CLC\/TC 205 Home and Building Electronic Systems (HBES)<\/li>\n<li>CLC\/TC 219 Mains communicating systems<\/li>\n<li>CLC\/TC 209 Cable networks for television signals, sound signals and interactive services<\/li>\n<li>CLC\/TC 215 Electrotechnical aspects of telecommunication equipment<\/li>\n<li>CLC\/TC 65X Industrial-process measurement, control and automation<\/li>\n<li>CLC\/TC 86BXA Fibre optic interconnect, passive and connectorised
