Για την παρακολούθηση των ευρωπαϊκών Τεχνικών Επιτροπών που ασχολούνται με θέματα μηχανολογικών προϊόντων, ο CYS έχει δημιουργήσει την “Αντανακλαστική Επιτροπή 2 – Μηχανολογικά Προϊόντα”, η οποία επιβλέπει τις αντίστοιχες δραστηριότητες στον τομέα της ευρωπαϊκής τυποποίησης και υποβάλει απόψεις ή και παρατηρήσεις σε προσχέδια ευρωπαϊκών προτύπων.
Στην “Αντανακλαστική Επιτροπή 2” καλούνται να συμμετέχουν εκπρόσωποι από κυβερνητικές υπηρεσίες, ιδιωτικούς φορείς, ακαδημαϊκά ιδρύματα, οργανωμένα σύνολα κτλ και έχουν ως κύριο σκοπό το σχολιασμό των προσχεδίων των προτύπων (prEN) τα οποία τίθενται σε Δημόσια Κρίση (Public Enquiry) αλλά και άλλων θεμάτων που προκύπτουν μέσα από τις εργασίες των Τεχνικών Επιτροπών κατά την εκπόνηση ή αναθεώρηση των προτύπων.
