In 2013 the Commission dealt mainly with the modification of the decree KDP 164/2011 which has been published on October 5, 2012 in the Official Gazette. No. 4596. As modifiers decree of 2012, referred to KDP 357/2012 where change concerned the new Regulation 305/2011 (CPR).

The Commission also addressed to Research program for quality control of fine aggregates which in 2013 completed the majority of laboratory tests (≈ 90%). The project, expected to be completed in the first half of 2014.

Another issue that the Commission in 2013 was to evaluate the suggestions / proposals PanCyprian Association (SCPs) concerning (a) the reliability and reproducibility of test results Quality Control, (b) the sample condition before the test run absorbency, (c) the results of specific screening tests depend besides the quality of the rock and the specific surface area of ​​aggregates and (d) the method of acceptance / rejection of inert construction materials.
 
In 2014 the Commission will be asked to address and analyze the final evaluation of the results of the Research Programme for the Control of Quality fine aggregates where the completion of the Program, the Subcommittee will present the findings of the Commission and expected placement of members on the subject.

Also the re-establishment of the Subcommittee will be sought for Recyclable Materials and Hazardous Substances.
 
Finally the Commission will have to consider amending Decree 164/2011 KDP to final publication and adoption of standards regarding Aggregates (eg EN 12620, EN 13043, EN 13242 etc.) as well as any other issues that may arise during 2014.
