Scope of Work
As a member of the committee, you have the opportunity to influence national, European, and international standardisation deliverables in the fields of Road Equipment and Road Materials.
The scope includes the development of standards and other standardisation deliverables regarding specifications, test methods, and compliance criteria for materials used in the construction and maintenance of roads, airfields, and trafficked areas as well as specifications for road infrastructure devices, including Safety barriers, traffic signs, traffic lights street-lighting and additional elements like bollards, anti-glare screens and noise barriers.
It also covers the terminology, sampling, test methods, and specifications for bitumen and bituminous binders used in paving and industrial applications.
As a committee member, you will have the opportunity to participate in international and/or European work. CYS MC 3.09 monitors and contributes to the work of the following European and international technical committees:
