Scope of Work
As a member of the committee, you have the opportunity to influence national, European, and international standardisation deliverables related to aggregates, natural stones, cement and building limes.
The scope includes the development of standards and other standardisation deliverables in the field of natural, recycled and manufactured aggregates, by specifying aggregate performance characteristics, sampling and test methods. Additionally, it covers the standardisation in the field of natural stones relating to rough blocks, slabs, semi-finished and finished products intended for use in building and for monuments and furthermore standardization in the field of definitions and terminology, specifications and methods of test for cement and limes used in buildings and civil engineering.
As a committee member, you will have the opportunity to participate in international and/or European work. CYS MC 3.02 monitors and contributes to the work of the following European technical committees:

- CEN/TC 246 – Natural stones
