Scope of Work
As a member of the committee, you have the opportunity to influence national, European, and international standardisation deliverables in the field of precast concrete products.
The scope includes the development of standards and other standardisation deliverables of precast concrete products covering terminology, performance criteria, preferred shapes and dimensions, tolerances, relevant physical properties and test methods.
As a committee member, you will have the opportunity to participate in international and/or European work. CYS MC 3.08 monitors and contributes to the work of the following European and international technical committees:
European Technical Committees
- CEN /TC 177- Prefabricated reinforced components of autoclaved aerated concrete or light-weight aggregate concrete with open structure
- CEN /TC 178- Paving units and kerbs
- CEN/TC 229- Precast concrete products
