Scope of Work
As a member of the committee, you have the opportunity to influence national, European, and international standardisation deliverables in the fields of electrical transformers, power supply units, and related electrotechnical components. The committee focuses on standardisation activities concerning power transformers, instrument transformers, and small transformers, including methods of measuring losses, eco-design requirements, and performance evaluation. It also covers related equipment such as reactors, insulated bushings, and combinations of electrotechnical systems.
The scope includes the development of standards and other standardisation deliverables for the design, testing, performance, and efficiency of transformers and power supply systems. It also addresses aspects such as marking, energy losses, environmental considerations, and operational requirements to ensure safety, interoperability, and sustainability in power distribution and control applications.
As a committee member, you will have the opportunity to participate in international and/or European work. CYS MC 4.06 monitors and contributes to the work of the following European and international technical committees:
European Technical Committees
- CLC/BTTF 146-1 Losses of small transformers : methods of measurement, marking and other requirements related to eco-design regulation
- CLC/SR 96 Transformers, reactors, power supply units, and combinations thereof
- CLC/TC 14 Power transformers
- CLC/TC 36A Insulated bushings
- CLC/TC 38 Instrument transformers
