Scope of Work

As a member of the committee, you have the opportunity to influence national, European, and international standardisation deliverables in the fields of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and the efficient use of the radio spectrum in the context of digital communications. The committee contributes to the development of harmonised requirements that minimise electromagnetic disturbances and ensure the reliable operation of electrical and electronic equipment.

The scope includes the development of standards and other standardisation deliverables for the assessment, testing, and control of electromagnetic emissions and immunity. It also includes work related to the Digital Dividend and spectrum reallocation, ensuring compatibility among communication technologies, infrastructure, and services, while protecting both users and equipment from harmful interference.

As a committee member, you will have the opportunity to participate in international and/or European work. CYS MC 4.10 monitors and contributes to the work of the following European and international technical committees:

  • CLC/ETSI/JWG DD ETSI-CENELEC Joint Working Group Digital Dividend
  • CLC/TC 210 Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)
