Scope of Work
As a member of the committee, you have the opportunity to influence national, European, and international standardisation deliverables in the fields of light and lighting technologies. The committee covers standardisation related to performance, safety, energy efficiency, and interoperability of lighting systems and components for indoor, outdoor, residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
The scope includes the development of standards and other standardisation deliverables for lighting products, including lamps, luminaires, lighting controls, and associated equipment. It also addresses aspects such as photometric requirements, visual comfort, sustainable lighting design, and the integration of innovative and energy-efficient lighting technologies in various environments.
As a committee member, you will have the opportunity to participate in international and/or European work. CYS MC 4.11 monitors and contributes to the work of the following European and international technical committees:
