As part of the efforts to improve the services provided by the Customer Service & Information Centre, the organization, in 2007 initiated the "CYS Subscribers package". The subscription to this specific package offers to members a number of benefits related to the provision of services on an annual fee.
Eager to meet the needs and requirements of its customers, CYS improved the subscriber package by creating the following subscription schemes:
Subscription Scheme A benefits - CYS Subscriber: (subscription € 200 per year + VAT)
- 20% discount on purchases of international (ISO, IEC) and national (BSI, ELOT, DIN) standards
- 35% discount on purchase of European standards (CEN, CENELEC)
- 50% discount on purchases of Cypriot national standards (CYS)
- Discount on Standards' packages
- Free updates for all new European standards which are adopted as national standards by CYS, based on theme categories. Information on events and seminars organized by CYS.
Subscriber scheme B benefits - Special subscriber:
- Supply of an unlimited number of European standards (CEN, CENELEC)
- Supply of international and national standards ISO, IEC, ELOT, BSI & DIN with a discount equal to the discount CYS is entitled to by the relevant Standardization Organizations
- Free updates for new standards (as shown in Figure A)
This specific subscription scheme is annual and is determined in cooperation with the interested Organization / Company and the Management of CYS, depending on the size of the Organization / company and its needs in standards.
